Stock options

Q: How do you model stock options in a client's plan?

A: In short, capture stock options as a future savings amount.

Come up with a conservative estimate of what the options will be worth when sold (e.g. $100k), subtract any taxes that are due (e.g. $25k), then enter the net amount (e.g.$75k) as a planned future savings.
